TROIS SOLUTIONS POUR UN AIGU : Pour un chanteur ou une chanteuse, l'accès confortable à l'aigu dans le registre poitriné est un problème technique fondamental. |
THREE SOLUTIONS FOR SINGING HIGH NOTES For a singer, having access to comfortable high notes in chest register is a fundamental technical challenge. The morphology of our vocal organs, our musical style and the awareness of our physical sensations will enable us to achieve a vocal gesture that will influence the creation of these demanding high notes. My own experience as a classical and modern singer as well as my popular music teaching experience made me consider the expression “raising the soft palate” (often given as a technical key in opera singing) as a starting point to three technical positions corresponding to three musical areas: opera, musical theater and pop music. |
